Members’ meeting in Oslo on 3-4 May 2022
The next DLM Forum members’ meeting will be held in Oslo and hosted by the National Archives of Norway on 3-4 May 2022. There will be a physical event, and it will also be broadcasted so it's possible to attend the meeting online. The call for papers is open. Come and share new concepts and solutions with our community! The theme of the meeting is "Opportunities for archives in the digital era". Both administrative and technical viewpoints with practical experiences that deal with the topic are welcome.
Suggested scope for the presentations:
• When all is data, how do we define "archive"?
• How will digital transformation affect services from the GLAM sector? (GLAM = Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums)
• How can we make the world of archiving more innovative and fully utilize the potential of the digital transformation?
• Other relevant topics for the DLM Forum.
The programme on 3 May starts with registration and a light lunch at 11 CET, and lasts until 17 or 18 CET. The second day, 4 May, the programme will start at 9 CET and end at 16 or a little bit later. There will be time for a DILCIS Board meeting and other possible sub-group meetings on the morning of the 3rd of May or the day before.
