DLM Forum Members' Meeting and Geospatial Digital Records Preservation Workshop in Brussels, 27-28 May 2024
Our next members’ meeting will take place at the National Archives of Belgium, Rue de Ruysbroeck 2, 1000 Brussels, on 27-28 May 2024, just before the eArchiving event on the 29th, also set to be held in Brussels! Alongside our members' meeting, the Geospatial Digital Records Preservation Workshop will be organised by the eArchiving Initiative and the DLM Forum Geoforum at the same venue on 28 May. The members' meeting is an onsite event that we hope to record or stream, while the Geospatial Digital Records Preservation Workshop is a fully hybrid event where both speakers and attendees are welcome to join onsite as well as online.
The members’ meeting and the DLM Geoforum event will be organised in cooperation with the State Archives of Belgium. The theme of the main meeting is "Archiving Europe’s Digital Decade" (the call for papers is closed). The theme of the Geospatial Digital Records Preservation Workshop is "Preservation of Digital Geospatial Records, the Cornerstone of Europe's Digital Decade." In both cases, we expect contributions from both policy-makers (as we meet in Brussels where policies are formulated) as well as practitioners.
